the exhaust manifold or the manifold for the air to go through the cooler and into the plenum?
M112 would do the job i think but the manifold would be tricky...doable but a fair bit of fabrication required.
They come cheap of course

excuse the noobness of my questions...
but is it as simple as making an alloy box section with a lasercut plate and feeding that into the throttle body like a turbo?
or not?

more like "or not"
The SC will be after the TB and basically you need to mount the SC to the inlet. You could do some kind of mounting plate arrangement onto the inlet runners but the size of the M112 would be tricky. It would all come down to how much fabrication you are up for.

Not sure if its been said, but it'd be cheaper than anything above, easier than anything above, and in my opinion, way cooler soundng and looking (wihtout opening the bonnet) to have antilag like a rally car (everytime the clutch is engaged)...
Would backfire like a rifle, and shoot flames a few feet long..!
= win...

I know many race cars that have used it for many many months without replacing turbos...
And i know a guy who virtually used it every day for many months on the street without turbo issues (though the turbo was replaced after a year or so)...
Though the $800 to have a turbo rebuild once every 12 months, probably negates the fact that your going to spend 6k fabricating a s/c to the side of your engine which will probably blow after 12months anwyay...?
2step can be installed for around 600$ (MSD do an ignition system), and turbos can be rebuild for 800$, depending on the turbo.

same thing, just refered to differently.
MSD 2 step or antilag (everyone calls it different things), will build boost off load and have a 2 stage rev limiter. I remember looking into them.
The standard one was like 400$ with a wire in loom, the 600$ got you a better or slightly different or extra module which built boost faster and sounded like a machine gun
