Hi guys
As the title says i am wondering where these hoses/pipes go on the intake.
If anyone could let me know that would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Ben
the top ones are vacuum leaks that you should plug up (unless you are using a crharcol can, in which case the one that says C or something on it should go to the charcol can)
the bottome two are coolant hoses, they control the cold idle bypass. if you don't hook these up you will have a high possibly hunting idle and will need to plate off the idle bypass all together.
Plug the blue one, run the yellow to the charcoal canister, plate off the idle up valve then with the bypass on the side of the block run a hose from the inlet to the outlet of it.
too me it looks like the red arrow is pointing to the power steering idle up connection.
The water hoses would be pointing down not forward.
The water hoses are actually plugged up already in that picture there.

I dont think so, they would be for the air con idle up?Originally Posted by takai
Ive marked the water hoses with the green arrow
Actually now i look closer the 2 that are blocked would be for the power steering & the unblocked 1 for air con.
But to answer your question they are not needed so they all should be blocked.
Hi
Sorry to dig this up but what is the best way to block off these hoses. The red one i can buy another of those caps but what about the others. Is there something similar i can buy for them.
Thanks
Ben
The easiest way is to get a little bit of vac tube and put a selftapper into it.

You can silicon caps in all sizes that look a lot neater
Or you could plate the idle-up valve off and those fittings will disappear with it.
