Hey all,
i want to remove the handbrake grip for my '22 so i can get the handbrake powdercoated. Can anyone tell me the easiest way to do this without breaking it (the hand grip)?
I know it is glued on, but what is the easiest way to remove it?
NOTE: easiest also includes not damaging
cheers

Posted in wrong sectionbut how about heating it in hot water and the wrapping the plastic in cloth and the trying to pull it off in a vise?
kinda like a slide hammer where you tighten the jaws of the vise so that the tube slips through but the plastic handle wont so the shock of the plastic bit hitting the jaws breaks the glue bond
ooops my bad all... please move if you dont mind
will try that stidham... thanks

If it is glued on, you could inject (using a syringe) some thinners or alcohol to try to break the bond and slide it off?
