way too wide, being a boxer engine, they need heaps of chassis rail width, in comparison to engine bay length

Just needs the engine mounts swapped left to right and the crossmember slotted and it fits straight in.

i dont see why i get 'neg repped' when all i asked if it could be done. i own an my99 wrx, mine makes 198kw atw, so i like my boxer engines, i dont neg rep people who like rotary's do i? its all opinion based, i was just wondering if it could be done, as a m8 and me were arguing about it.

EJ20 is a low revving slug, only advantage it has is a low centre of gravity, and an inability of people to work on them due to the spark plugs being half a spark plug length from the side of the car, and you can't get a plug spanner on the buggers!! Not only that but WRX boxes are notorious for breaking.

As mentioned, there are other ways to AWD a TA22, like putting a twin turbo 1UZ-FE and GT-R running gear in.

I think you and your mate shouldn't bother follow up with reasearch on your drunken arguments (speaking from experience here...)
