okay was wondering if an ej20t would fit in a ta22? or ke20..? would be very interesting in deedly
tape measure says no fkn way.
way too wide, being a boxer engine, they need heaps of chassis rail width, in comparison to engine bay length

hello
Just needs the engine mounts swapped left to right and the crossmember slotted and it fits straight in.![]()
lol haha, would be interesting with the driveline as well.. lets wait to see if the germans do it first.
you'd get on well with radar

i dont see why i get 'neg repped' when all i asked if it could be done. i own an my99 wrx, mine makes 198kw atw, so i like my boxer engines, i dont neg rep people who like rotary's do i? its all opinion based, i was just wondering if it could be done, as a m8 and me were arguing about it.
i +ve repped septembersquall for bein a funy kent
dw punkture i got ur back, oh and ah look into a 3s, 1g or even as u mention a 13bt (i like this) if your keen on spending that much dosh, will be easier to fit anyways and has been done before

okay cheers sillycar, i have just put a 4agze in mine, waiting for the wiring to complete itself haha, but thought an awd ta22 would be an awesome adventure
already being done, with twice the capacity... and yes.. looks like an adventure...
cut rex and rolla/celica at sills.. swap bodies... weld and profit?

AU$TRALIA... come and stay and PAY and PAY!!!
EJ20 is a low revving slug, only advantage it has is a low centre of gravity, and an inability of people to work on them due to the spark plugs being half a spark plug length from the side of the car, and you can't get a plug spanner on the buggers!! Not only that but WRX boxes are notorious for breaking.
As mentioned, there are other ways to AWD a TA22, like putting a twin turbo 1UZ-FE and GT-R running gear in.
I think you and your mate shouldn't bother follow up with reasearch on your drunken arguments(speaking from experience here...)
