If you get on the power, it's going to lock up, if you get on the power, you expect it to lock up. There is no inconsistency.
I'm talking about the reaction of on the power lsd, then clutch in it'll open wheel then clutch back out again lsd again, I know its going to cause the rear to break away thats the whole point of clutch kicking.Originally Posted by JustCallMeFrank

Otherwise anyone in NSW.Flying to WA to test out a diff is kinda not in my budget if anything car wise actually wants to get finished. I sure as hell wouldn't mind doing it though.

I dont think driving a car with a truetrac will prove anything. All cars act differetly no matter what kind of diff they have. I am new to drifting I have drifted at a couple of drift days and have found my car to be quite a handful. But im sure that comes down to my lack of experience. You may THINK you are a good driver on the street but its soo different pushing hard on a race track. My car spins quite easily. I dont know if its tyres, suspension and hardly the diff but more to do with learning to drive. You might think the truetrac will act in a particular way but you adjust and drive to suit. Im not having a dig here or anything but I think in your case you will be more ripping up the handbrake than a clutch kick cuz I dont think your car will have the power to achieve anything from a clutch kick?

Actually in terms of initiating a drift in any of my cars I've never used a handbrake, I've always used weight shift, mainly because the Corona's handbrake doesn't work so I've learnt to get around that through fairly agressive weight shift.Originally Posted by Pube

Yep, the IS/RS200 hemisphere is an easy fit into a live F series housing. You have a choice of two carrier bearings, but the wider ones leave less available threads on the backlash adjuster rings.Originally Posted by YLD-16L
Talk to your diff technician about upgrading the pinion bearings to a larger size, and fabricating a solid spacer to replace the crush tube. These OEM components don't take very well to repeated shock-loads, so its good insurance for the long run![]()

That's the whole point of having a track pig though, as you know you can abuse it and disrespect it, say for intsance by kicking the shit out of the clutch. If you don't want to drive your car that way, then don't take it to the track, because I can guarantee you'll be kicking the clutch in your Supra to keep the arse out.Originally Posted by 7MA61
