Default JJR intercoolers - Any good for 4AGTE?

    Hi,

Seeking some feedback regarding JJR intercoolers. In particular the 280x300x76 and the 450x300x76 WITH 3 INCH INLETS.

Here is the link (will probablyonly work till end time being ebay):

    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI...._BID_Stores_IT

Will be using 2" piping so will need to get a reducer.

    All feedback appreciated.

    Mark

i bought one of these JJR coolers just recently as did my friend in QLD just last week.
they are pretty well made from what i can see. if you're going to run 2" pipe - get the 2.5" in/out and use the reduced silicon hose stuff to get down to 2.5 --> 2.0 on the cooler.
on my mates supercharged vn his inlet temps are 29 degrees (4 degrees above ambient) and, he's seeing approx 1psi pressure drop across the cooler (to be completely confirmed post tuning on the dyno)
mine took 3 days to get to vic from the guys at JJR.

link for one is here : http://cgi.ebay.com.au/JJR-450x300x7...QQcmdZViewItem

Grega - Cheers for that. Will definately get 2.5" if available. 1psi drop and 10 degrees above ambient a good result? It sounds ok.Would be good to know what temperature the charge was before the cooler. I'd also be interested to find out how the smaller cooler performs as I would expect it to produce an even smaller pressure drop (but maybe not as good cooling).

JJR intercoolers are availbe on ebay...just in case the links don't work again
