Man, that think killed me for a year. Then I spent a while $25 and an autosparky pulled it out for me. You CAN'T turn it off, it's in the back of the speedo cluster, and it's a bastard to find...

its not hard to find man, its a metal? box on the back of the guage cluster, should have 2 wires going to it, one ground, one feed from the back of the speedo, on my celica and in my supra if you look at the conductive layout on the back of the cluster there was actually a line from the speedo, it says chime on it, may be the same on the aw11.

with these 2 line, all you do is either cut or unscrew the line from the back of the speedo

i have always gotten my systems through audiotech, they are pretty good, have good support and warrenty, every time i had an issue, i took it back, they fixed it no charge.

although with my supra i am not going an alarm, i have setup my own system on it to stop people taking her, they may break in, but she ain't going anywhere

alarms may be used as a deterant by joyriders, but really alot of people these days know how to bypass them, i don't know if its worth having anymore. thats why i did mine and wraped it in the factory loom

yeah, thats usually only if a pro wants your car badly, and hey, there is no stopping that, you just hope you have insurance, most joy riders wouldn't bother if you have to go to that extent
