have you checked the intake piping and the blower?? could be a boost problem
Hey guys my 4agze wont go over 2500rpm without chugging and splattering, i have had no luck in finding the problem. Most things have been checked and cleared but still problem is there still. It idles fine but soon as you start to take off it does it.
I need some pointers at where to look things that have been checked are .. injectors cleaned , fuelpump checked , fuel filter changed , spark plugs and leads brand new , good spark , new alternator put on there. So where do i been to look next ?
keep in mind my car was only dyno tuned 3 months ago it has a ems stinger ecu . Could it be possible that my ems stinger is playing around ???
I have a brand new exhaust system on the car extractors back from liverpool exhaust 2 months old could my cat have collasped ? i am going to unbolt the cat this week to eliminate the possiblity.
Other then that i think my engine maybe screwed or something its like there is no fuel burnability /compression or restriction when it start to take off.

Hi
the intake from the topmount is all good , i havent checked the blower for any problems how do i check if the clutch is ok ??? and if the charger is in decent condition ?
cmon peps i need help here
clean the throttlebody and check plugs etc
Hi is that what you thinks causing it ? plugs are all checked. But with the throttle body you think that could cause this to chugg while driving and be perfect on idle?
Throttle Position Sensor?
MAP sensor hose/electric plug came off?
Check all your sensor plugs, make sure none have inadvertently come off.
Put the ECU into diagnostics mode and check that. Procedure is the same as 4AGE.
i have an aftermarket ecu ems stinger so i cant diagnostics unfortunatly
i have visually checked all nothing is off or loose
the 4ag does the same, hunting at idle yes but if driving it more than likely vacuum leak or exhaust blockage!
or the stinger is playing up! hard without hearing and feeling what its doing!
it spatters and the revs stutter as i accellerate if i keep accellerating past 3000 the charger still comes on and cars start to move faster but with same sound.
i found some condensation on my oil cap , 2 little specs of water and some milky resude buildup.. could head gasket happen all of a sudden ?
Possibly,
I had similar sputtering when my cam timing was out, and we'd triple checked it before engine was in, also had that milky crap but it turned out to be condensation and has since disappeared after a number of oil changes to clean it out.
you think a nevo pulley would put my cam timing out as i have recently put this on..
nope. crank pulley itself won't change the cam timing.
Essentially you are going to need to begin checking things off the list.
The basics you have already done, now you need to go through things like your cam timing, then ignition timing, then sensors, ignitors etc.
It's going to be a pain in the backside unfortunately. However, I do recall some recent gze problem posts in these forums so you might want to check. I believe one was due to a shagged fuel pump.
so the map sensor hose is connected at the ECU ???

I think EMS has internal MAP sensor doesn't it?
