that would be the SA63 celica. it also came with a 2S-C (pooS-C).
Yes, can definently vouch for the little 32/36 webbers on the 2S as well. Mine ran great for about 2 years before i sold it, only slightly retuned from the cortina. From memory, i managed to get a adaptor plate from autobarn to suit (took carby and manifold to them) which apparently was off a celica model??. Didn't run a choke either, was warm enough in bris, otherwise just manually warn it up for a bit. The only trouble i had was that once the two tubes that the fuel sprays out of in the centre of the barrels (name?) became loose and vibrated upwards, but other than that ran heaps better than stock, especially with extractors and 2 1/4 exhaust - Great Sound!!. The mechanic who tuned it did tell me that a rejetted stock carby would run better??
Good luck with it mate!
Glen.

hello
if i can get a plate from autobarn i'll be a happy man would save me a good 3 hrs work thxs for the heads up
sa63 celica hmm
Would anybody be able to give me a guesstimate on the power increase in getting a webber ?
The old boy might throw one on if it's not too much work
Depends on what else is done... ie air filter that you put on the weber compared with stock item, your exhaust, how badly the current carb is running, how well you get it jetted... etc etc. Without jetting or anything, and just converting from a stock 18RC carb and filter to a 9" round, 2" high paper air filter, I got a fair whack more power with the weber. Really noticeable.
Cheers, Owen.
