Good stuff.. sounds like most of us will receive the pack either today or tomorrow at the latest.

After the BBQ and pointing and poking at everyones car, we didn't really achieve a lot apart from meeting and greeting.
Aaron has secured a big marque for the weekend.. about 8m x 4m or something.. so plenty of room for people to relax over the weekend and keep out of the sun.
Luke P is going to organise the transport of the OST BBQ to the motorplex - however, everyone is in charge of bringing their own supplies (meat & drinks etc)
We have signage from last year, and I'm going to type out a blurb about the car club to save a few curious people hassling us over the course of the weekend.

Everyone is in charge of a details/info list for their cars, if they want to knock something up.
We decided that a complex club display wasn't the way to go, as cars are in and out cruising all day (no a static display like at Autosalon) - and plus we just don't have the time to organise anything too elaborate.

At least 85% of us are camping over the weekend.. so most of us will be there from Friday arvo / evening to set up everything. I've got the day off so I'll try and get down there early. I don't mind being the ring master to organise this circus

In summary, it basically looks like we'll just do what we did last year and wing it..
everything worked out last year and everyone had a great time..

    Looking forward to it!

I wouldn't bother getting there too early.. I think they only open the gates around 1pm... so there will be a huge bottle neck of everyone trying to get there early.

I'd say around 3 or 4pm maybe.. thats probably what time I'll be aiming for. Will only take a couple of hours to set up everything , then the rest of the time is just wandering around seeing what other clubs are up to.

Damo. just finished making the negative mold. Should start the positive tonight, and commence bog and sanding tomorrow. All going well I should drop it off tuesday night. I'll bring my spare jap uniform for you to try on as well. What time will you be home??

Also will you (damo) or anyone else need help carting gear there on friday (signs, marquees, etc.). as my back seats will be empty. and maybe my front...

Thumbs up Re: OST @ Motorvation 2007

Got my pack yesterday too. And remember reading 4mx8m per car, so I'm not surprised we have a big area with that measurement.

Enough for car and tent each

Not sure if I'll make it down on Friday yet, but if not, see you early Sat morning. Car washed and ready to give the driving events a shot.
