Lock nuts - no key

well i found a way i can get the lock nuts off, i hope it works.
i ripped off one of the earth screws (14mm) and the end fits in nicely, then i found a nut to go on the end of that (strut tops ) and fits nicely in the lock nut, so basicly i just have to find a way of gettin the nut to stay on the screw when i undo the lock nut.

gona ahve to goto hardware shop tomorrow, unless someone can sugest some other way to do this without needing a welder?

screw the nut onto the screw, and mangle the thread so it doesnt come undone, you can do this by just hammering the thread with a hammer, and grinding off the excess...
