Can an oil pressure sensor be used for fuel??

I've got an Ebay cheapie on my fuel line and it seems to work nicely - unfortunately it's a pita to read in daylight....

I suppose you get what you pay for....

Yes you can, i actually rang the manufacture of the gauges that we had installed ina customers car and got htem to send a 2nd oil pressure sender, i then put it in the fuel line and use a rocker switch to read between fuel pressure and oil pressure, and its been handy and accuarate as.

Kind of the same line of thought.

Any reason why you couldnt use an Oil temp sensor for Transmission temp? I figured its escentially the same thing.
