    Default 1967 Toyota Corona 1600S

1967-1968 series II Corona S four door sedan (lights below bumper):

    The good.
    Basically original.
    Numbers match (body and engine)
Brakes refurbished oem Dunlop Sumitomo rotors light machining and within spec.
    New pads (Jaguar)
Rear drums in spec, new shoes.
    Lower ball joints replaced.
    Monroe GT shockers (Holden Monaro).
Diff OK no whine 3.7:1 ratio
    Four speed gear box ok.
motor pulls well, revs well, no rattles, comps 95/100, no bubbles in water, corrosion fluids.
pulls well up to 80 mph..
    4R good comps.
some surface rust but under car treated and sound no rust.
    Paint 7/10.
    RED
Owned by TOYMODS members family past ten years, I have owned and stored for five years under cover.

    The bad.
    Door trim tatty.
Seats out of a 1969 Corona.
Thrust bearing bit noisy so the clutch and box needs to come out sometime as over 100000 km travelled.
    Roof lining worse for wear.
Rust stopped twenty cent rust spots on lower doors in a few places would best be brazed or mig welded.
    mechanically pretty good.
Brakes not the greatest so caliphers need r and r or replaced with aftermarket replacements.
    No car radio.
    Floor carpets bit tatty.
As you would expect 50 yo car, is partially restored roadworthy and first cut and polish, but now needs rust spots fixed and colour matched or repainted. which I have shelved.
Fixed the carbies which are always an issue new needle seat from USA.
Some spares but parts car sold.
Comes with Alloys or steelies your choice.

    Note well.
I wiil only communicate and exchange details by email to avoid the tyre kickers and keyboard lazy warriors
Car is half way between Adelaide and Melbourne.

last 4 door 1600S sold for
    Grafton $10-$12000
    Gosford $9000
Two door restore in Devenport is $4000

    My asking price $7500
