r154 gearbox to Commodore Vr ss diff

i definately wouldn't recommend the VR/S IRS for the back of a Corolla - the K frame would be way to wide and it would be a PITA to modify.

i've seen this done to a VH commodore with success, but, ALOT of work it will be.

shinny that ae86 getting IRS?
and whats wrong the the bog warmer diff anyway, it lived behind your ae86 (for a bit)

There are some details on a few IRS conversions floating around the forums here, I haven't transferred details of mine from the old forums yet though. Have seen pics of a MA61 IRS narrowed to fit a KE26 (pic of car but not rear end pg 95/96 of KE Series thread in general car talk), however the guy who built it has quite a few clues and access to the right equipment. To narrow an IRS diff to fit takes serious skill or money or both, especially if you want it to look factory. My car was never going to look factory so it made lif a little easier.
