    Default 1JZ 1991 MX83 Cressida Grande [Sydney] - SOLD

    Hi All,

I have for sale my 1991 Toyota Cressida Grande, which has had a JZX90 Chaser 1JZ-GTE conversion.

I wanted to offer it on Toymods first, seeing as though this is where I got the majority of the info for building it :-)

I've owned the car for about 12 years. It was my daily drive for a few years and never missed a beat. In the last few years it hasn't done a lot of work. Mainly just trips between Newcastle and Sydney and the wife taking it the 15mins to work. Very hard to sell, you'll see in the pics it was used at my wedding recently. Unfortunately just have too many cars and never get to drive it anymore. Hoping someone else can appreciate it like we have.

The thing that sets it apart from other 1J Cressys that you might find is just how tidy it is. In late 2013 it had thousands spent on a professional respray. The paint and body are absolutely flawless. It basically looks like a brand new car.

As you'll see from the specs, apart from the new engine the mods have been relatively conservative. Basically what I wanted was a comfortable daily driver with plenty of extra power when it was needed. It does the job brilliantly.

The mods are all completely legal. It has an engineers certificate for the conversion. Never had an issue with the police, in fact they tend not to look twice at it.

    Specs:
Engine: 1JZ-GTE JZX90, with around 170,000kms, in great condition.
Transmission: 4 Speed auto from JZX90 Chaser
Suspension: KYB Shock absorbers and lowered King Springs. Whiteline performance rear sway bar.
Brakes: Upgraded front brake rotors, calipers to larger Chaser ones. Also have rear Chaser calipers ready to install, will supply with car.
Fuel: Upgraded Walbro fuel pump. Only ever run on 98 octane unleaded.
Exhaust: Full custom 3" stainless exhaust. Varex muffler to make it quiet when you need to.
Tyres/wheels: 17" genuine Toyota rims. Near new Kumho tyres.
    Intercooler: Front mount.
Computer: Standard chaser computer. Conversion professionally wired.
Interior: Original grey leather seats from another Grande, in good condition.
Exterior: Perfect new paint. Won't find a dent or scratch on it.
    Windows: Professionally tinted.
    Air conditioning: Works great.
Stereo: Aftermarket head unit. Front speakers Sony, rear speakers Jaycar.
    Alarm/immobiliser fitted, with key fob.

The price is $6000, not negotiable. I'm located in Hurstville NSW, just south of Sydney Airport.

More than happy to answer any questions or provide more pics, etc. Just let me know. Email is [email protected], phone 0421 736 615.

    Cheers, Simon

Some more pics of interior and engine bay that were requested:

Note that the engine bay pic is a few months old. Only thing that has changed since then is it has a brand new battery.

Also note that the car has rego until the end of July 2017!
