Default Celica Brakes - fitting st185 to st162

    Hi all,

After reading an old thread here about upgrading st162 brakes to calipers and rotors from an st185. When i went to fit them, Ive come across a couple of issues.

The main one that is stopping the install, is the calipers not bolting up over the new rotors. When fitting the st185 calipers over the st185 rotors, the caliper bolt holes don't reach by a few millimeters. I dont really want to try and source knuckles as getting the calipers were a pain and a half to source.

The capliers are stock from a wrecking one I found, and the rotors I got are RDA rotors I sourced from eBay.

Has anyone else come across this issue, and is there an easy fix, or do I have to just find knuckles.

Dont reach how exactly? Have you pushed the piston back into the caliper? Have you got the single pot or twin pot st185 calipers? Have you got the correct diameter disc to match? As the st185 had 2 different rotors/calipers.
