The boost inceased by 1psi due to free flowing nature of the exhaust system.

So yes Shane was right in saying we didn't increase boost pressure.

Magic also do a 5in Magic Cat for the crazy cats who want to make eleventy billion horsepowers

    Cheers

I heard the 'magic' cat was NOT australian approved, where the 'metal' cat was? I was under the impression that teh magic cat was a cheap rip off of the metal cat? This is all from memory so I could be way off, but i remember this being thrown around on supraforums when a GB came up. Anyone know for sure what is 'legal'?

i just dug the issue of zoom out that has the magic cat in it, they stated that the soarer made 30kw more with a boost rise of 1psi (due to less restriction in the exaust according to them). matty's celica also made 15kw more with no metion of a rise in boost. at the end of the article they said the cats are about $500 plus an hour of fitting.

Also on the adr compliance issue, would a workshop really be game to fit something that wouldent comply with emission adrs and risk a $50,000 fine!
