Unfortunately this is my daily so might have the day off work tomorrow haha
So i've bought an ASI fan with relay kit for my 165, with no instructions and no experience i would usually palm off a job like this but didnt for some reason![]()
anyways, long story short OEM radiator fan motor dies so im swapping it out for this ASI fan. I figure since the st165 didnt come stock with a mechanical fan i could just piggyback off the existing wiring and not have to use all this bird nest of a relay kit.
So my question is; Would i be able to wire the asi fan to the plug which the oem one used (so i can use the old wiring and relay and not butcher things)?
If not can anyone lead me in the direction of wiring up a relay kit for a similar application (without the use of manual switches and constant power) aside from witzl's thread (no pictures) i cant find anything for the life of me.
Thanks in advance!

I will say an uneducated (ST165 uneducated) yes you can happily use the factory wires.

yes you can. make sure you wire the power side and earth side to the correct terminals though!
