That question would or should fall upon your automotive machinist shop since most of the local cost or charges are based on each service that they provide.
Stop in or call them after you yourself have reviewed the repair manual so that you can ask the correct pricing questions.
Reading a book, cost you only your time, the knowledge gained will allow you to open the doors to the services that you will require.
Each test or inspection that you can perform yourself reduces your overall cost, period.
Sorry if it is not the answer that you were seeking on price or cost, but you can now approach this suggested build with your eyes a bit more open and your pockets to remain a bit more full of your own money.
