    Default Transaxle rebuild

I am contemplating rebuilding my ST205 transmission (E154F) not including the transfer case.
reason is it has gotten a little tough to get into and out of gears.

so before I split the case, what tips do people have?
I have the tools (bearing pullers and a press, as well as spanner sockets etc)
I have read the Toyota manual, and although time consuming when checking end float are there any difficult points?

ive pulled motors apart, rewired ecu's and done a fair amount of fab work, so I feel im a decent DIYer but just want to see if anyone has found pitfalls I maybe over looking?
    cheers

Sounds like a clutch dragging/not disengaging way more then any kind of trans problem!
'I've scrapped better.' John stated when asked about the car by the guy with the silver tipped cowboy boots!
