On the speedway i don't think that the gearbox will be stressed much due to it being a low traction surface so the T-50 should be alright
with the right tires it is actually a very gripy surface, thats why you see sprintcars lifting the front wheels!
and it would kill a t50 very very quickly!

Not sure of the weight the car is totaly gutted with no floor or rails behind the drivers seat and no front skirts in front of strut towers. then barwork and roll cage fitted so i guess it would be back to about original kerb weight.
I am trying to make it as quick as an AE82 with a stock 4age. SOOooo quick.!!

an ae82 with a 4ag isnt quick!lol id wont it a lot quicker if you want to win!
i think it will be a good idea if you get the car setup on scales, it will make a big diffrence with the same HP you already have.
give me a yell when on of the big meets are on in sydney and ill get you to go and have a look at one of my best mates cars, Gary corfield. He is a top bloke and has a good setup and ill tell him to look after you in anyway he can.

I run the car with a soft setup and good tyres for maximum grip so i can get everything that the 18R has down to the track.

Works very well but end up just runng at full throttle all the way cause it wont pull past 6600.
Only 2 cars beat us AE82 and Honda CRX.

Believe it or not AE82 is the bench mark small light quick accelleration.

While the big horsepower cars are wheel spinning the rolla just nips past them.Looks funny but it works.

you will find its driver skill and setup! his tactics prob help because he can go faster into a corner and then hold the RWD cars up out of the corner! similar to what the big chev's do in circuit racing but in reverse, they come in the same and slow them down mid corner as the chevs have the torque to get a lead up out of the corner because the turbos need to build up boost!
