They sell rebuild kits for power racks... and there is much talk from the Holden/Ford boys about converting some of the older vehicles using power racks. Perhaps you need to expand your search?

did a little measuring on the weekend...

x7 is almost 100mm wider than the x3 from rail to rail so thats a no-go.
bolt spacing is about 25mm different too (not that thats a huge issue anyway)

so back to the drawing board i guess.

will now look into simply mounting a rack to the factory crossmember. i'll get the drop saw and mig out and mock something up

so anyway it's been a while...

ended up cutting up a the stock crossmember and welding the mounts to an s13 crossmember, then using s13-jz engine mounts.
i am no longer doing my mx32 project as i have too many others, but a friend is doing pretty much the same conversion in his mx32.

tie rods ended up on a dumb angle using x3 LCA's and struts with the s13 rack, so all s13 gear is going in the front. (coilovers, lca's and brakes)
staying 4 stud and smallish brakes to clear 15" meshies.
plenty of room for exhaust around the steering too unlike x7/x8

next thing will be starting on the rear diff. will be using a taraga diff so nothing fancy there.
