A question though.
How close to the exhaust manifold can you solder wires without the solder remelting?
I need to relocate the O2 sensor due to using a different manifold
and I need to replace the VVT solenoid plug which Hyundai really smartly put on top of the headers So the plugs go all brittle. The Toyota solenoid is the same, but with different plug shape, so I'm aiming to cut the wires and solder that in instead. At least Toyota put it near the cam pulleys, not half way along the head >

Solder melts at 183c, lot higher than plastic so give it a few inches

no chance for oil cooler in time but if i can lob a set of track wheels in time ill come along anyway

Hi guys, sorry i've been shit chasing this all up lately, life has been off-the-scale hectic - not helped by deciding to have a crack at a house at auction on Saturday after only seeing it on the Wed. Vito, that + related bank shenanigans is why i bailed on beerfacing Friday night, as we were still trying to sort the bank out. Got a bid in but missed out.

So anyway, i didn't get around to giving everybody enough notice that today is my last day in the country, so i need confirmation and payments sorted today. Well, if Vito's willing to help out and handle any extras, i'll give him some contact details for the other guys and he can probably handle any last minuters... ok Vito?

I currently have received money from Hammo, ...and that's it. Knightrous and Dneg are the other two who said they were coming (well, that i've put on the list) so you boys need to get your money transferred today.

I should have email/internet access while i'm away but i'm not going to be checking it every day and would prefer to be drunk and submerged to my neck as much as possible.

I'll check back in a few times today, so let me know what's happening - i need to email the guys a confirmed list and transfer money for spots tonight.
