Had a good amount of fun out there. The day itself had clear skies but due to heavy rains the day before, parts of the track were wet all day. Best time I did all day was a 1:18 which is well off the pace. Then again it was also the first time I've had an adub on the track since Jan 2012, so i cant entirely blame the weather

Brendan's R888s have finally run out of rubber hahaha (he graciously allowed me to use them for the day as I havent got track wheels or tyres atm)



Elfin MS8! A whole bunch of awesome cars turned up in the arvo in anticipation for the supersprint on the next day

Was a good day, shame about the water, managed a 1.07.2. Not bad considering conditions. Had a ball racing my mate in his VL for 5 or 6 laps later in the day.
Unfortunately my mate Greg did only last about 12 laps before seizing his commodore. And it was my other mate Ben who almost wrote of his Monaro at turn 2 late in the day. So lucky, crossed up at kink and went infield, cross back over the track after turn 2 sideways across track then reversed it through kitty litter, only just hit tyres, prob $600 worth of repairs.

Oh and blew the doors of that new blown GTS commodore on the straight.

ah so thats why the track closed a bit early at the end of the day? glad to hear it wasnt too serious. your car looks pretty nice now btw!!

1:07.2 - stout!

So disappointed I couldn't make this one. New turbo/mani/wastegates/dump/mid-pipe/intercooler all finished and fitted, just need to be coated and tuned and I'm there for the next day.
