Use the standard coolant hoses to run into turbo. The coolant feed should come out of the top radiator hose metal thingy on the motor. I think it also houses the thermostat.

    Mario.
I am assuming that you have a 3TG (hybrid) and have a turbo on the side?...
on the exhaust side of the block there is a coolant drain plug that bolts into the water jacket, use this as you supply coolant.
On the lower thermostat housing there are a number of fittings (depending on what series motor you have), utilize one of these fittings for you return line.
This is how I would set up a coolant feed and return for a turbo on a 3TG.
Just remember that the coolant flows top to bottom,.as in out the top hose and into the radiator, and then through the bottom radiator hose and then to the water pump.
Hope that is of some help
    Regards

Cool cool, am i looking at the right things in the pics?
is that the water jacket drain plug?

    from another angle

and would i use this unused engine temp sender as the return?

does it matter that my turbo coolant inputs are higher than the water jacket drain, due to the turbo being a high mount?
    thanks again

    Mario,
that is the one in the water jacket.
Even if it's easyier, plumb in a "T" into one of those water hoses that is already there.
I see a banjo fitting towrds the back of that housing, what is that for?...maybe you could use that.

MarioM, when I changed my turbo to a water cooled unit on my 3TG I taped into the back off the water pump just back a bit from where the hose and hose clamp are (this is where the factory water cooled 3TG turbos pick it up from), and on the thermostat housing to the left of the bolt holding the unit to the head (this is also where the factory water cooled 3TG pick it up from).

BigBadBenny, the banjo fittings front and rear are for oil feed, the one at the front that's connected comes from near the oil filter, the one at the back feeds the turbo and the other line that's blocked I use to run through an oil cooler and it also feeds/returns to a fitting near the oil filter.

    Hope this help guys.
    Cheers,
    Neil.

Yep, the factory set up is basically as Neil has said, although they actually employ an alloy elbow that sits in the lower radiator hose. i like the idea of taping coolant fromt this area, as it will be the coolest, and certainly cooler than tapping into the block drain - something to think about for pedantic's sake, but sometimes it does make a difference to service life! The top is also as Neil has stated - they tap into the flat section near the ten mm bolt that bolts the thermostat housing to the head - to the left of your green circle in pic 3. I see no problem in removing an unused sensor and utilising that thread as an inlet either. good to see your project is progressing Mario.
