Yeah i've seen a few of those adjustables spring conversion, i've been following your build too sheppo nice work. Wish i could get my hands into it myself like you but unfortunately im only set up and know how to work with timber.
i'm not really comfortable with hacking out the top spring seat (ironically, an origionallity issue i have, would like to keep them if it has another life as a more origional approach) but if i was to use an original point it would be there z ute. After all that point is already designed to take the corner load of the car.
it may be something i have to reconsider, i had ideas of the coilover being at the rear of the diff so it was easier adjust. i'm pretty stubborn, lol, so i may have to talk to an engineer about it and throw the kitchen sink at it if i have to.
From a handling/ suspension geometry point of view is it better for the L & R suspension points to be as wide as possible between each other? Mounting off the chasis rail will bring the suspension components more to the centre, will this effect corner handling too?
