    Default Interesting oil filter test/comparison

Ive been running around on the web chasing up a part number for the oil filter off an old UD62 stationary engine( yuck ) .
anywayz, while searching I found this page on oil filter comparisons that I found pretty interesting so I figured I would post it here to pollute everyone's mind

warning-Information is probably ten years old and from America but still interesting.

Go genuine or premium aftermarket and worry about other things lol
That aside, I dont know how or why manufacturers get away with the filter prices they charge for cars these days, the markup is fucking insane and unlike other OEM's that sell filters to different markets they have zero desire to compete.

You never walk into a Toyota parts dealer and see a stack of flyers promoting their filters and how they are only $2.20 more than the competition.
