Yeah I've done it twice but not on a RA28. I've done it to my MX23 and I did it with my father on his '68 corvette.

No one would ever say it is simple. But it is such a massive improvement over stock. And much better than using a rack out of a ae86 or similar, the geometries are all off.

With my S13 setup (same measurements required as the S14) with the KE70 rack I used RA60 rack ends and Bluebird TRX tie rod ends with great success, with no noticeable bump steer.

Track was 1505mm running 16 x 8 +10, which would make it 1525mm hub to hub

Measured mine out today @ 1435 hub to hub with my shortened adj lcas. Same as my rear cradle, dont know how that happened. rechecked wheels I had 9" barrels on it @ +35

90mm difference in hub to hub measurement sounds like a lot, I'll have to recheck my photo of the track on mine. How much did you adjust your LCAs in, surely not 45mm each side?

Wouldnt +10 per side make it 1485 hub to hub.
I shortened them by 15mm per side and moved the mounting point in by 10mm per side and up by 20mm thats why ive had trouble with bumpsteer. Ill check how it is with the shortened 323 rack but if its still shite itll have to go back to ke70 rack and original lca points which adds 20mm track per side + might need rcas then too

Ive just fitted rack and pinion to my TA22. I would think that a KE70 wouldbe perfect for an RA28. Whats the distance between the LCA bolts on the cross member of an RA28?

On a TA22 its 540mm, i suspect the RA28 is wider than that?

    Cheers,
    Simon
