Default few more question regarding 3uz-fe vacum hoses and evap or fuel vapour

I have a few questions regarding the vaccum hoses on the block and what exactly they are used for I think I have them worked out but just want to make sure. Im putting this 3uz into an LN106 diesel hilux and this is my first conversion.

    1. Leads to the power steering I think?
    2. Also runs from the airbox to the power steering
    3. I think is the crankcase breather or PCV. How come one runs to the air resonator and one goes direct to throttle body?

    4. 5. 6. and 7. I think these have something to do with the fuel vapour and purge system or EVAP I think its called?

    8. I think this is a blocked off port for EGR. Did they come stock like this and am I right in believing that the VVTI actually takes care of EGR now?
    9. I have no idea what this is for or used for.

Finally, with conversions such as these, what do you guys do for the fuel vapour system? Ive been instructed to use the donor cars charcoal canister and system but I didnt get it. Can I setup something to work with the toyota system and ecu or something mechanical just to pass certification and so the truck doesnt stink of fuel? Any ideas and links would be greatly appreciated.

Also has anyone had any experience with KS Racing bellhousing adapter kit?

Ive contacted them and they said everything is included only thing need to do is weld the starter ring onto their flywheel?

    or this one?

Firstly I don't have any first hand 3UZ experience, so I'm only offering advice because it seems similar to other Toyota engines I have had experience with.

    OK, with that said,

I's say that these two hoses are for the "Power Steering idle up".

How this works is that when there is a high power steering load / pressure a switch, (that is normally located on the PS high pressure line / PS pump) that both these hoses connect that allows extra air bypass the throttle (the "switch" connects the two hoses when it sees high pressure) allowing the engine RPM to increase. One hose it pre throttle, one is post and the switch is in the middle...

This is done so that the engine doesn't stall in circumstances such as doing a U-turn when there is zero throttle, but enough load from the PS to stall the engine.

Coolant drain for the engine block I would say.

You can connect a hose to it so that you don't make a mess

Get a charcoal canister from something at the wreckers and connected the hoses to it correctly is the easiest way I'd suggest

I don't know much about the 3UZ EVAP setup, but it looks like it might use another VSV and a sensor to know when there is pressure in the fuel tank, and that VSV gets opened then?... Not really sure without looking into it further...I'm sure someone else will know

A lot of the 1UZ guys use the KS racing bellhousings as they are a good bit of gear so I'd recommend that kit!

    regarding PS and EVAP systems
Use the rule of thumb "they don't affect your top speed" and pay attention to more important things
EVAP differs between JDM and not, pre-2003 and newer models
In JDM pre-2003 you just connect the hose coming out of VSV to your canister and ECU does the rest without any pressure sensors etc etc.
