Toyota Crown !988 GS131 trans issues!! HELP!!!!!
Hey all i have a toyota crown with the mighty 1ggze and A340 trans.....
so i tried to launch my crown and failed i was revving the engine around 4,000rpm then dropped it into drive and now it just revs when i put it in drive, it still has reverse and was wondering if anybody has done this before and or what the problem will be
?????

These "power up engines" were sold to give the big barge a semblance of power, without actually providing any whatsoever!
Time for a new box, lots available just swap bellhousings if you can only find a trans from a JZ or UZ engined car.

Was doing skids but thought launch was a better way to explain it,

Yep forward clutchpacks are gone. Either rebuild the transmission or manual swap. Doing skids and launches will do that..
