What else have you done?
Why did you have to put stock injectors in?
What injectors was it running before? Were electronic upgrades required to run those injectors? (I.e. an interceptor or different tune etc)
Hey,
So today I changed my 1UZ injectors back to stock ones and went to turn it over, and it will not idle. It will stay on for a few seconds then stalls!
I've pulled it all down again to make sure everything is connected etc and it looks good.
I did have to take the complete fuel rail off and also took the front crossover pipe off to get the rails out. Could there be air trapped inside?
The return line has strong fuel flow.
Fuel is fresh.
Any suggestions?

Nothing else is done to the motor. It's completely stock.
I originally had the stock soarer injectors as my motor is from a soarer. I then changed these out to run lime green 7MGE 315cc injectors. I fitted these for future power upgrade but am selling the car so wanted to put the stock ones back in.
No aftermarket electronics/ECUs/tunes.
Before I swapped the 7MGE injectors in, the stock ones were fine and car was good.
Does it idle up to normal cold rpm?
Does it splutter and die or just die?
What happens if you push the throttle a bit before it stalls?

Thanks heaps for ya help man!
Does it idle up to normal cold rpm?
Doesn't get that far unfortunately.
Does it splutter and die or just die?
Splutters and then dies with a bit of backfire/pops. Feel as if it's not getting enough fuel?

I can maintain the revs steadily but motor sounds very unhealthy and as soon as I release the throttle, it stalls.
Thinking of cleaning the injectors with some carb cleaner but I didn't think they'd need cleaning as they've only been out of the car for about a month..
If you hold the throttle open will it stay running?
If so, get someone to hold the revs constant and then, using a screwdriver, listen to make sure each injector clicks.
Also make sure you haven't disturbed any of the ignition system.

Whats' the compression?
Disconnected one by one to figure out if its one or all from their response?
'I've scrapped better.' John stated when asked about the car by the guy with the silver tipped cowboy boots!
Thanks for all the suggestions fellas but I pulled everything apart and put it back together and now she's driving perfect? Don't know what was wrong but guessing something wasn't connected properly..?
Yeah will most likely sell them off now as I have no use for them anymore. I've put a brand new seal kit through all injectors
