    my 10c..
I have one of those 3t-eu engine manuals, as well as 18rgeu and 3tgte. all in japanesee. if you require any scans pm me. The 3t-eu engine wiring diagram in it is pretty much (probably is) identical to the jap 18rgeu diagram. I haven't scrutinized it for every pedantic detail but looked the same at a glance. Anyone wanting the std loom could adapt a 2tgeu/18rgeu loom quite simply. they has same ecu plugs too.
I'm sure you know the potential of these things. rather than search for 3teu upgrades though.. the same upgrades to a 3tc or 3tgte can be done and will show more results when googled. exhaust ports and exhaust bolt pattern are all the same between T engines so 3tc turbo and 3tgte upgrades apply. Intake ports and bolt pattern shared with pushrod 2t/3t heads only. 2TG intake bolt pattern can be adapted with a spacer plate but 3tgte intake ports are totally different.
If boosting a 3teu intake, i'd suggest to replace the rubber runner joints with layered silicon joiners. They're glued on from what i can tell so only a matter of time before they start lifting.
Keep the chromed runners coated in some form of corrosion preventative. Seen too many spotty/flakey intakes.
Yep many efi parts are shared with the 2tgeu and early 80's era fuel-only efi systems like 1g-eu.
The 3t block, pushrod head and full counterweight crank are strong yes. Plenty interchangeable parts like using an 8kg (lighter than std 3t) 1g-eu flywheel and hilux (18r) 9" HD clutch to handle more power. (downsize spline to suit T50 though). 3tgte or 1g engine bellhousings can be used to upgrade to supra box. The 3tgte conrods are strengthened versions of the 3t and I have read of one guy that bent them at 400hp, so could be worth installing if you can find some for the right price. pistons are cast so have little resistance to detonation. Even low compression 3tgte pistons are vulnerable to breaking ring lands especially beyond 200hp.

parts reference. unfortunately pics are gone due to lawsuit. but theres other pirated epc in russia etc with pics.
