Help needed to wire up 2JZ alternator in MX83 please.

Hi to All
Did a search but not much found.
The 2JZ Supra loom alternator plug has 3 wires that go to pin 23 and 34 of the orange connector and a white going to the 3 pin connector engine to body plug.

The MX83 has 3 heavy gauge wires from the engine bay fuse box to the alternator plug.
What is the best way to conect up the 2JZ alternator in the Cressida, extend the MX83 wires to it and disregard the 2JZ loom wires?

I have bought another set of the Cressida fuse box to alternator cables as well as the real thick white one that bolts on as shown.

The best way I can suggest it to lengthen the MX83 wiring as you have suggested. Ignore the engine wiring .

This way the dash alternator charge light, etc will be all wired up already.

That said I personally wouldn't run the wiring across the top of the engine... if you do then if you ever want to take the engine out you will have to pull that wiring back out...(might take a little bit of effort once you tape it in and add split conduit over the top of it...).

I'd run the wiring around the top of the radiator support panel like I'm pretty sure they did on cars that came with alternators on the drivers side (i.e. MA61, MX62, etc).

Thank you very much for the help. Good point on the wire routing I do want to run it through the top and loom tube. I am trying to work out a connector on the Cressida alternator wires that will disconnect from the engine loom on the left if required, I am looking at using the grey start inhibitor plug and socket item which is weatherproof and takes the 6mm spades as does the alternator wires.
