Mate try looking at Wikipedia. The AE86 has a T series diff which is about an inch smaller in crown wheel diameter with a corresponding drop in axle spline size than an F diff. The TA22 and TA23 Celica also use a T series diff but the spline count is different to the AE86 units. The F series came in late model RA23/RA28/RA35 GT and GTV variants all with solid axle arrangements and not independent rear ends. Older sources of F diffs were the MarkII corona coupes MX13? some Crown Coupes and the Tarago people movers. The major source of F diffs these days are the Lexus IS200/IS300 again they are independent.
Check out a couple of pages at Norbie.net you will get an idea of what came from where. And it will depend entirely on what your application is as to what one you are going to use.
