just get an early 3uz much less hassles with everything unless u have shitloads of dollars to fix and sort out the fiddly bits

the security is easy to sort out if its old school key chip and reader

it only gets complicated when its the smart key which in aussie Toyotas only came in after 07 08 ish in 200 series landcruisers
so basically anything with key button start will prob have smart key which means u need 4 ecus to talk and link up before engine will start

most cars with a normal key in ignition can be worked out by flashing the immobiliser chip if you have no keys

why not just put an ls3 with a 6 spd auto in an is200
fits in nicely and would go much better and probably cost the same hehehe

so I really hate NO as an anwser... I found this guy that has found a way to reprogram a chip for the key. so all you need to do is send him the ecu and he will send you back a key chip programmed for your ecu. Facebook the cartune company . So I have contacted him and Ill see what he says.

    he is kelvin
wait to see what engine u end up with and go from there
I can progr keys too for a price so pm me and ill give u rough prices depending on what parts u get with it
and George can do it too and he might be able to bypass immobiliser if its early 3uz
if engine has smart key then it gets very complicated and not worth doing unless u get front cut
and then u will have a shitload of mess under the dash

ideally I would get a 3UZ from a gs430 and 6 speed.. that what I want.. there is one selling down in melbourne. it is still in the chassis. its a 2005. Soemone would have to tell me what I would need out of the car and I would negotiate getting it all as a pack. buy I would need a list of the non obvious things so I could pull it all out.

    I doubt its smart key
so best of getting engine wiring
    and all wiring behind dash
or atleast get the steering column and key and key reader and if there is an immobiliser box get it and the plug on it

its prob fbw so u will need accelerator pedal and pedal plug

hard to know what else without looking at a workshop manual
so best of getting everything under dash

    slipper86 it's rhd smart key gs430
it needs AT LEAST 89784-30010 id code box, 89990-30040 smart key control module, and probably some other things but that's enough I think

its more the fact that u need to run all the modules for the key
so I guess it can be done but u will have to run half the gs430 dash wiring and modules in the is200

maybe even buy a 1uz vvti and with money u save put it towards a good exhaust and stuff to bring it close to 3uz spec
