Hilux VN V6 Radiator opinions

So have tonight picked up a 1991 HiLux 4x4 with a full converted and engineered VN V6 motor.
Got for 3k as required a battery and radiator is split. Im not comfortable with fitting another VR V6 radiator in as I dont think it'll cool it down enough especially in WA weather and offroading.
Currently has custom brackets which have moved the radiator slightly forward and to fit with the VR V6 radiator.

Question is, would a VR V6 radiator cool it down enough with AU thermo conversion, or should I remove brackets for an original diesel radiator.

Any other opinions would be great!

(Remove v6 isnt an option)

I dont see the issue ?? The rad is designed for that engine if it can cool it in a commodore why not in a hilux?

I would be getting it checked out the ensure its not blocked and replace with fresh hoses and you'll be right

Also falcon thermos are great if you can fit em

Vr rad in it ATM has a split through drivers side. So needs to be replaced anyway.
Vrs are only 1-2 core radiators which were designed for the lighter rwd. Would suffice if mine wasn't full time 4x4. There's a lot of info in conversions just not much on what radiator is best for it.
