Hi guys,

I have just installed my exedy twin plate and getrag v160 onto my 2JZ.

Im having troubles with getting the clutch to disengage though.
The hydraulic system is fully bled and works fine when not bolted up to the gearbox (i had a friend put weight on the slave pointed to the floor as i pushed the pedal, the rod travels freely and the pedal feels fine)

Its only when the slave is bolted to the gearbox the pedal is rock hard and doesn't move, as if there is something jammed somewhere else.
The fork for the bearing carrier has free movement and the carrier can spin freely when the fork is not attached.

When i was assembling the clutch there was a 5 mm gap between the pressure plate and the flywheel before i tightened it all up.
As a result the 'fingers' on the pressure plate are sitting flat.
Is this normal for a Pull type setup?
The clutch was second hand with the gearbox, but all of the parts have exedy part numbers on them (maybe wrong type of plates?).

Im just stuck for ideas at the moment.... any help appreciated
