    Diagnosing is fun
I was going to reply to your post of lextreme but too many wankers on there for my liking hehehe

Anyway code 15 is no return signal from ignitor to ecu on the no 2 ignitor so igf2 and igt2 wiring

If the noid light goes out while engine is still running on aerostart then this is your problem

So u either have wrong igniters
    Or bad igniters
    Or break in the wiring

The sc400 ignitor wiring should go directly to ecu
So if the wiring is fine then its most prog igniters
If wiring is broken then fix that

I once had code 15 on a non-vvti 1UZ-FE due to incompatible ECU
it was 4-connector style (something like 34-16-28-xx pins), it turned out that LS400/Crown of the same era used slightly different wiring, in particular this was the case with igniter feedback pin. Bank1 IGF was ok but bank2 IGF pins were in different locations. Got the problem sorted by digging the proper ECU from a bunch of units.

Thanks everyone for your help, upon sourcing a replacement ecu the car now starts and runs great with no codes.
