They are usually called Monsoon Shields, Rain Shields or Weather Shields and found as 'accessories'.
Our old SXE10 (Altezza) had them fitted, and were TGP's.
These here
As the title says I am trying to track down the part with the arrow pointing to it. I can't see it in any diagram on ToyoDIY so I am thinking it's not a genuine item.
Anyone have any information on these?

I see, so still unknown if they are genuine or not. Still it's an option so thanks
Sorry, wasn't very clear on that.
The Altezza ones were in some 'accessories' part of the EPC, not in the main 'chassis' part of the EPC.
You'll need to take a trip to the stealers and get them to pull up the 'accessories' catalog for the JZA80.
Yes, genuine OEM item (as was the sun shield on the top of the rear window) Try Aaron at Import Monster he had a few sets for sale ([email protected])
thanks I will do that, I was hoping to get the part number though as I have pretty good resources in ordering my own genuine bits. I will see if I can find this accessories catalog and look in there. It is a good back up plan though
Given Aaron had OEM sets for sale, maybe email and ask for the part number?
Heres a link to the OEM accessories catalog. The weather shields are in the 1996 catalog, but no part number (unless thats what the Japanese writing is under the pic!)

With the information given to me here I was able to track down a pair in New Zealand, last in the country no less. So a big thanks to the help given, my friend was pretty happy to hear the news.
Did you get the part number? If so, can you share![]()
no I was not able to, I will see what it is when it arrives
