    Actually, WTF!

In the Types and classes, it has the requirements for each of the classes, all the way up to Type 5. I would be type 4, and my car meets all the requirements

I just noticed the supp regs saying "This event will be restricted to road registered vehicles. Type 1, 2, 3,
    and AWD/SV Type 1, 2, 3 "

Anyone know what this is about?

It looks deadly if you had a quick car and no cage. Would like to have a go but like others here, mine is unregistered but has a decent cage and plenty of bits to save me in case of flying off into the trees at 200kmh.A speed I could see on this hillclimb.
Best of luck to all that are going.

They did finally respond to my email about this, saying to ring Julian on 02 6456 2078 for an answer on whether road rego type 4 can enter.

RANT AND WINDGE TIME ------- I do not understand they finally get this event off the ground and then they restrict it to drivers with no left arm and a missing right testicle and who must drive a 2 stroke manual !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! . Then when they only get a few entries ----- wonder why ??????????????. It is all getting to bloody hard ( and expensive ) to just go and have a bit of driving fun. So much crap to have to go though , and you do not want to have any fun , that is a real NO ! NO!.

And this bullshit at the Motorkhana's ------ You can only drive a registered car because it will be safe --- but when you get there you can fit illegal bald tyres ????????????.

I wonder how many of the cars that do run at Cooma would actually pass a rego test . If Insurance is the issue then a ( road rego car ?) had better not have a crash , or the sheep dung will be into the fan !!!!!!!!!!!

Ah! that feels a bit better !!!!!!!! But I am still thinking of selling up and going on a cruise to Botswana .

    Ok guys, UPDATE ON CLASSES

I have spoken with the actual organisers and the man who wrote the supp regs....

TYPE 4 WILL be allowed, as long as the car is road registered.......

So, If you are TYPE 4, PUT AN ENTRY IN!

    See some of you Sunday

Would mine squeeze ( not pun intended) into type 3? I'd argue my guards have been mildly modified/ factory option. The turbo mods are free? Does that mean bolt on are fine?

I was told TYPE 4 is ok is registered, but no super saloons (what is that?????)

Just thought I'd ask, but is anyone going down for the day to watch with an empty vehicle?
My support vehicle and driver has pulled out, and I need to see if anyone would be willing to take my tools and spares down for me?
