    Default Alternator wiring (5me)

After swapping the alternator on the Crown, it worked for about a week before it stopped charging again. Unplugging it and plugging it back in made it work for another few days. Now I'm having to do it every time I get in the car.

I thought it might be dirty contacts, but they look fine. Cleaned them up anyway, but the problem is still happening.
    Any ideas?

On a possibly related note, a similar thing was happening with my positive battery terminal. I had to 'bump' it to get a good connection. Eventually it stopped getting a connection all together. I put a new terminal on it and the connection has been good ever since.

Check the brushes in the back of the alternator.
    Cheers Brett.
