    Default connecting rod/conrod bearings

I am trying to work out my oil clearances and out of round for my connecting rods in my 3sgte, to work out the bearing shell sizes I need and if I need to resize the rods. My problem is that on two of the rods I am unsure which way the shell's are meant to be installed as I lost the order, as my organisation wasn't the best. What would i do with these two connecting rod's from here to work out the correct bearings to order and also if I need to resize those rods? I have a dial bore mic, external mics and an internal spring caliper.

mains and rods sizes are stamped on the block normaly ,as they will be select end match .you would be better off to get the crank checked and the rods resized and the block tunnels checked .with a new set of bearings
we normaly run 1.8 thou bigends and 2 thou on the mains for oil clearence

The rods have already been resized - I am checking for out of round and oil clearance. I have the tools to do measure myself, and this includes a dial bore micrometer. My problem is the bearing shell's on two of the rod's I have incorrectly installed in the wrong positions. From here I am trying to work out how to measure the out of round and the oil clearance as I am installing new bearings.

    Whats changed?
Plastigauge will give you the clearance and unless you have fucked the rod it should be just as round as before.
