1uzfe+ Gearbox dimensions

Strange question but iam after some dimensions of a 1uzfe motor. Height width and Length
And all so length of the auto box aswell

Have a bit of a Google, or Google Toymods (add site:toymods.org.au to your search). I've read it here somewhere. From memory a 1UZ fits nicely in a 700 x 700 x 700mm cube.

From my memory they are the dimensions is had in mind too, I think that was just the bare motor though without exhaust, best part about the 1uz is the Bell housing is quite compact & relatively small in dimensions, I never measured it but it certainly looked quite small ..

Is the auto box a remote shifter type *cable* or a solid linkage.

Hi, its originally a solid linkage, but you could hook up a cable system to it if you wanted / needed too ..

What sort of car were you thinking of putting it in ?? They are a good motor, but in standard form are a bit lack luster & they are physically bigger too than a GEN 3 engine !!

seems that i have lost all mine info on this subject
i do how ever have a 1uz sitting in my shed that i could measure.
ive also go a auto still in a car, but atm its a bit of a pain to measure.

let me know if you want me to measure stuff up.

the 700x700x700 seems to be about a ruff size i remember or a KE26 engine bay Haha

PLan is to fit one to my 79corona and ditch the starfire. I just want some measurements to check out more so to give me confidence in buying a 1uzfe. Cos if its alot fo trouble i'll just but a 3rzfe and wack that in it

I cant remember if that model corona had a steeering box or rack & pinion, if its still got a steering box things will be very very tight mainly in regard to the exhaust ..

The "700 cube" sounds about right and Having seen this model year of Corona with V8s in them before (Ford, Holden, Rover 3.5/Leyland P76) I can say that you will be able to fit a 1UZ however there will be a lot of dorking around with the sump and exhaust

I have a good exhaust shop that ive seen do some crazy exhaust fit outs to do with confine space's so thats up to them
Sump is something i can only work out once i start mounting the engine
Lets just hope for a decent tax return so i can get a VVti 1uzfe
