Im tidying up all the loose ends after putting 2JZ-GE into my MA61, the most frustrating/important one is my headlights no longer work and I cannot for the lift of me figure out why.
Obviously alot of wires have been pulled out/unplugged/etc in the process of swapping engines, but all other lights work so its not a power wire I didnt hook up. Bulbs and fuses are fine.
Is there any under dash wiring that needs to be connected for them to work? The most frustrating thing is the small driving lights (or whatever they are) turn on with the headlights so there is clearly power/signal from the stalk making it through to the front of the car.
The headlight motors dont work either, but they never did so its a separate issue (although I would like to fix it)
Anyone know exactly what the headlight relays do in the main fuse box? Im not sure if Ive tested that relay properly so I want to give it another go, but even bridging the points doesnt seem to do anything.

I used to eat alot of natural foods. That was until I learned that most people died of natural causes.
Well I fixed them....sometimes all I need to do to figure it out is write about it on the internet and then the problem occurs to me immediately.
Headlight relay was stuffed. The reason nothing happened when I bridged it is because low beam on the passenger side bulb is blown, and I was probably only looking at the one light as I tapped power into the relay socket. I thought the bulb worked because I could get light to come out of it, but that must have been high beam only.
Damn cars....
Still gotta get the motors working, but theyre not as critical.
