Default Bosch Spark Plug Lead Identification

I bought a set of Bosch spark plug leads. The coil lead is very long, so, I decided the buy a shorter lead for the coil.

The longer lead that came with the set has SUPER SPORTS INDUCTIVE CORE 207 written on it.
The shorter lead I bought has SUPER SPORTS INDUCTIVE CORE 112 written on it.

I'm assuming the number has nothing to do with the length as my lead for cylinder 6 is quite a long lead and it has SUPER SPORTS INDUCTIVE CORE 110 written on it.

Anyone know what the numbers mean ?

Also, can a lead be too long ?

    Any help appreciated,

    Trevor

Probably just a part number. Are they listed in the Bosch catalogue?

No. I should have mentioned there's no mention of these numbers on the Bosch website. The part numbers themselves are different e.g B23Si, B106Si.

No, the 200 type numbers mean nothing with regard to length or part number. I'll need to confirm tomorrow, but most likely production batching numbers. Bosch love that shit

If you could find out that'd be very good.

Rang Bosch in Melbourne this morning. Couldn't find anyone there who knew what the numbers meant. That's funny!!!

Whoops, forgot to reply yesterday... FAIL!

Been digging through the bucket loads of Bosch leads I have in stock (did I mention I am a Bosch Distributor?)
Even the standard leads that come in packs of 5 vary in that number within the same bag. Safe to assume its a batching/production related number.
