Well after leaving my 86 just sitting around for 3 months after a failed HG change I have decided its time to get off my ass and do it properly this time.
I want to clean up the threads on the block, but I don't know what size tap to get? Can anyone help me out? I have been searching and trying to get back to the tech docs from the old forum but every time I go to the old home page it directs me back to here!

Im pretty sure they are an M10x1.25, but as mic has said just take the bolt along with you.

yep, just got a tap and die set then, the size is M10x1.25!
