Yes, some people bring their partners along, and there is a spectating area at the RAC Driving Centre which also includes shelter and toilet facilities.

To join, fill-in the form from the TECCWA web site, and follow the instructions as to how to pay and who to send it to. I think it says [email protected]? Otherwise, email it to [email protected] and I'll forward it on.

Events, such as these, have their own instructions as some are free to members or discounted, and have other specific requirements in terms of cost, what you need to do or bring. Members are emailed a regular newsletter and updates, and they're posted here, on the TECCWA Facebook page and web site, as well as sometimes elsewhere.

Currently, we're not a CAMS affiliated club, so we can't offer anything in that regard as yet. Most of our motorsport events are run under AASA permits and can be entered by people holding either an AASA or CAMS licence. We can organise AASA licences as part of attending your first event. However, you should read the Supplementary Regulations and other details for such events that are posted.

Yes, there are currently spots available.

There will be a cut-off limit of 40 cars maximum and, with interested numbers at the mid-30's, it could be filled soon (Assuming everyone commits/pays). Cut-off date will be end of March, and those who pay first lock-in their spots as that's the fairest way to do it.

We'd only accept entries after that date if there are spots left and it doesn't cause us dramas with organisation. For example, if we don't have enough payments by then, we'll go with fewer instructors and we don't want to suddenly have 10 more the day before.

Getting closer, having trouble with the crank angle sensor signal also waiting on thermo fans and mufflers to arrive from America, no chance by next weekend, but the XR8 does make a nice sound at WOT!
