Post TECCWA - Driver Training Day April 14th

TECCWA are organising a Driver Training day at the RAC Driving Centre.

    The plan is:
    • Get there by 12pm to get organised, especially if you need to unload your car, ask questions, etc.
    • Classroom instruction (12:30pm-1:30pm)
    • Skid Pan session (1:30pm - 4:30pm)
    • Road Circuit session (4:30pm - 6:30pm)

There will be 3 instructors providing in-car tuition during both sessions.

Cost is $110 for Members and $130 for Non-members for each participant, and requires a licenced vehicle that conforms to noise restrictions as we cannot use loud vehicles on the Road Circuit after 5pm due to noise restrictions.

The event will run from 12:00 on the 14th of April.

Can you let me know ([email protected]) if you're interested so I can get an idea of numbers to firm dates, costs and viability. We need at least 20 entrants to make this viable.

Click this link to see the current list of entrants and booking confirmation status.

    Regards

The tentative date at this stage is the 14th April, and we've asked for Jurgen and Murray Armeti as instructors, so hopefully they should have plenty of advice to give people.

That is the most likely day. Why, is that a problem?

LOL - We could, but I don't think it would be of much help on the track, and I'm not sure Perth drivers would remember 5 mins later anyway.

Woohooo, some front wheel drive technique training Rudi?

Hrmm, not sure I could handle that.

I must pull finger out and at least do the fuel system so I can take Celica.

Be great to see the Celica out there. Much to do to the fuel system?

Modify fuel tank for intank pump with integrated surge tank. Then get it welded by qualified welder and then pressure tested and certified by DPI approved fuel tank company...

(Would like to run a bigger feed line to accommodate turbro as well, but that can wait)
