How to tell if big port head or not?

Hi

Recently rejoined as I bought a new toy with a 4age motor

Now the guy who sold the car said it was a std big port motor with the TVIS removed.

Now as it is std I thought a dyno run would be in order to give me a base figure to work from before fitting cams, extractors etc to try and get more power.

Only problem is I'm not 100% sure it is a big port head and was wondering how to tell them apart without pulling manifolds off etc so if someone knows for sure please let me know

Bigport intake manifold has 8 runners, 2 per port.
The ports are arranged in two pairs, with a bigger
gap between the centre two ports. Smallport head
has four ports at equal spacings, one runner per
port, an external oil drain at the rear of the head
on the intake side, and ribs on top of the intake
manifold. Bigports were all TVIS, so if the OEM
intake manifold is present, there should be (or
would have been) a TVIS sticker on top of the
manifold. Phew
