Still doing it. I'll try and do the diag light to see what codes are coming up.
If there is no pin for it in the diag box, I have no clue wilbo.
I did.
Checked voltage at the pump. Constant 12. Took restrictor out, runs at 12PSI, feels good.. Hasn't had a problem yet, but I am yet to try and drift/take off from line etc.

off topic but how do ya find the auto for skidding, sweet with a decent handbrake? seems a much cheaper idea than r154 for a beater.
I really like it and it's not common in aus. Starting out I am slower because I can't clutch kick, just put foot down and throw it. Check my posts in the z1x thread I posted a video. Handbrake can be a little strange, need to get the timing right to power out. I'm sure you could neutral drop, but I'd rather not.
This dropping out is really pissing me off.
FWIW my problem was solved with a surge tank, I had cavitation issues.
Your problem might be more electrical than fuel related it seems. check all your connections ignition related, give all the plugs a wiggle while the engine's running, see if you can replicate it.
Are JZs known for munching crank sensors?
JZA63 Celica 13.9 @ 162km/h
they dont normally fail
main thing that causes ignition cut problems is coil plugs cracked
and overboost cut
try dropping plug gap to .8 see if that makes it better
will prove that its spark
It shouldn't be surging, does it above half a tank and it's baffled.
Only seems to do it in second.
Sometimes it isn't even full boost or high revs, just WOT.
Seems to be surging possibly, drifting at QR And it does it on right corners?
Knowing the guy you bought it off it could be anything......
Destroyer of 'Drop Forged' spanners
Haha, I've fixed so much.
Seems like surging. Only does it on right hand corners.
Will have to see how low the pickup goes.
Converted to intank walbro. Still does it from time to time, seems to do it more when hot.
WTFFFFFFFFFFFF
Mine did a similar thing ages ago, turned out to be the connection to the coil pack. I replace the plugs and it was fine. Maybe just double check the new plugs you put in. Make sure the connections are good. Seeing as it is one of only two things you changed before it happened, it could be the obvious problem. Also worth checking over the wiring back form the plug, could be a short or bad connection before the coil pack plugs.
